I was watching my hubby get his big dragon tattoo on his forearm and he was bleeding alot so I don't know
Its different for everyone, some people bleed alot, others not so much. My self personally, I never felt the need for a tatoo while my wife has a whole sleeve of Egyptian art.
I thought about getting a autobot symbol somewhere, but I doubt it.
