A List of Copyrighted PS3 Games - Won't Transfer


So with the thought of getting a new PS3 and transferring my old data to a new one it IS A FACT that I will lose some of my saved data on some of my games. Which means I will probable never play them again. I am NOT starting over on games that I have lost all data on, that's bullpoop.

So to help others, here is a list of games that are copyrighted, which means they WILL NOT transfer to a new PS3 via external backup restore.

Brain Challenge
Call of Duty: World at War
Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood
C&C Red Alert 3-Own, I just started this one, so I am just losing the tutorial stages.
Crash Commando
Dark Mist
Demons Souls
Devil May Cry 4 (Only the online file is locked)
DJ Hero
Dragon Age Origins
Dragon Ball Raging Blast
Dragonball Z Burst Limit
The Eye Of Judgment
Fat Princess-Own,I got alot done on this one, but not enough to discourage me from playing it.

Killzone 2- Own, Will never touch this game again, I will probably sell it.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition-Own,Haven't played this game in eons, so it doesn't matter.

Mega Man 9 - Own,Yeah, I will lose some levels, but no biggie. Its fun to replay.

Namco Museum Essentials - Own,DAMNIT, I was almost finished this one.

I cannot understand the logic of copyright save data. Essentially it could be resolved instantly by separating DLC from save data, because they are combined this issue appears and instantly reminds me of iTunes and DRM. Soon we will see DRM free for extra money on game platforms as well.

Supposedly if you do a full HD back up you can circumvent the protection as the back-up works like an image of your HD. I haven't tried but it seems feasible
