GhostBusters Top Down Shooter..err..Streamer

1-Up -"Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime is set for release in spring of next year, but rather than a full-fledged follow-up, it'll be a downloadable title released through Xbox Live Arcade, the PlayStation Network, and PC.

By the looks of the couple of screens USA Today revealed (one of which shown above), Sanctum of Slime appears to be a top-down cop-op shooter -- or, that is, a top-down co-op proton pack streamer. Up to four players can join in, either locally or online, but so far the only confirmed character is "the rookie" introduced in the first game. Sadly, this time none of the actors from the movies will appear in game.

What Sanctum of Slime will provide, though, are "gigantic bosses" that require players to work in concert to take down; weapons like the proton pack, plasma inductor, and fermion shock; and the ability to drive the Ecto-3"

I can't wait, with all the pooping in my pants I'm starting to run out.
