BattleField Bad Company 2 - Vietnam Pack

The details for the new upgrade of the battlefield Vietnam pack have arrived.

The expansion pack will be launching with 4 distinct new maps that will be playable on all 4 multiplayer game modes. There are 15 "new" Vietnam-era weapons along with 6 new vehicles including the HUEY!! Along with 10 new achievements/trophies.

The Expansion pack is integrated with the full game so you will continue to rank up and unlock achievements and badges no matter what war you choose to participate in.

One of my personal favorites is the fact that there is over 2 hours of sound tracks, 8 radio stations, 49 songs ( like Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Fortunate Son" and Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries) in total from the 60's and 70's that players can rock out to while in a vehicle.

It will be priced at $14.99 which I think is reasonable, considering it is a whole new face lift, just not more maps. Consider this when you compare it too the COD Modern Warfare 2 Map pack of the same price upon release. COD had 3 new maps and 2 old reused maps and no new in-game content (achievements/trophies, perks, guns and everything else was unaltered for the same price.

Doesn't that make anyone raise their eyebrows?? I know mine are trying to fly off my forehead.

Actually COD's map packs were initially launched for a whopping $25.00. Considering the pack should have never left the $10.00 mark, I am glad that DICE knowns how to treat it's fan base. Maps, look, music, weapons, vehicles & achievements sounds like a much better deal doesn't it???

MW2 Map packs were never $25.00. They launched at $15.00. I'd also argue that DICE striped away content from BC2 multiplayer just to release it as free DLC at a later date.

I think both these companies are ripping us off. One's just doing a better job with PR.
