More Characters for MVC3
Here the 234th character.....I joke, I joke...I know there is only 135 characters. Honestly though, I'm not complaining, but how many characters are they adding to this game? Do they have to have more than Capcom vs Marvel 2? I don't mind it though, bring it on.
Magic Orbz - PSN

I was interested in this game from day 1, but being $14.99 seemed a little excessive for a bouncy ball game. So when both the game and its DLC went on sale for $7.49 then I thought, "that's much more agreeable", and I picked it up.
This game is definitely worth $7.49....errrrrr, not so much $14.99. Its your basic bounce ball off of blocks until the level is clear plus power ups. I've always enjoyed those types of games such as Ricochet and others like it. This one is very colorful and vibrant and plays well.

There's really not much I can say about it, there's 24 levels per world and there are 2 worlds in the main game with 3 more in the DLC. We get a beach theme, kings and castles theme, Christmas theme, Halloween theme and a tiki theme.
Each is very unique from the other, you bounce the ball around until all the things are destroyed, simple as that. Its just mindless fun, it is fantastic for being one of those games that you can pick up, play a level or 2 and put away again for another day. Seeing has there are over 100 levels, its got some shelf life, unless you are hardcore and must play them all right away?

The key to winning these games, as 90% of my deaths were due to this. ALWAYS go for the ball first and the power ups second. The game taunts you with power ups, some helpful and some not. But a power up starts falling to towards the opening and like a moth to a flame, you race towards it, trying to snatch it up before its gone. Then once you get it, your ball zooms past you.....your dead. Well, sure glad you got that power up, cause its useless now.

Later on, the levels gets so low on the screen that shooting the ball results in it bouncing around very close to your bumper and becomes a game of reflexes. At this point, its very easy to lose the ball as well.
It also has co-op where you can play with a buddy, where each of you get one part of the screen to defend or bounce. You both get a ball each and its this way that you can really rack up the points and bonuses. Its much more enjoyable playing with a friend, as you can blame the other person for losing the ball.......Ian!

Overall, I enjoy the game because I like this type of genre, the price was right and its co-op fun. I don't know if there's a demo, but give it a try if you like.

Sony Wireless Keypad

I do alot of chatting back and fourth through texting on the PS3, whether its silly banter or setting up matches or just plain chatting. Anyone who as ever typed out a message using the PS3 controller knows that typing a message can be tedious. But the word assist column on the side greatly improves the construction of sentences. But in the end, I became pretty proficient with typing on the PS3. But long winded paragraphs were still a chore.
Recently my wife on a trip, remembering me complaining taking so long to type out messages. Picked me up the wireless keypad attachment. This is a little keyboard that snaps on to the top of your controller. At first I thought it would be uncomfortable, be in the way of my trigger buttons and such. But after attaching it to the controller and playing, I don't even know that its there. There no noticeable extra weight in the controller or things feeling off balance. It feels comfortable.
Using the keypad itself, like using the controller takes some getting use too. I'm not a texter person, when it comes to phones or handheld devices. So I am a little slower with the typing, but even my slower typing is still faster than using the controller to type. So it pays off.

What I do miss is the word assist. Using the controller, the PS3 gives you words that you may be trying to spell on the side, then you just select those. But when you use the keypad, the word assist turns off. Why? I don't know..I don't know if its a option on the controller that I have to turn off, or on. But I guess they think, since you are typing faster you don't need word assist. I still have more poking around with it to figure it out completely.
But it is very easy to use the controller, it works well and responds to button presses quickly. You can even turn the keypad into a touch pad. So one can actually play a first person shooter using the touchpad portion of the keypad. Its not meant to be used this way, but if one wanted to challenge themselves, they could do this. Its a nice feature, but it doesn't work. But hey, we didn't buy a touch pad here, we got a keypad for typing. I think I will stick to my controller for shooting people.
It runs on its own power, you just plug it in to recharge it like the controller and its a luxury addition to typing. Overall I would say that unless you are a avid typer on the PS3 and got some money to throw around, then by all means, pick it up.

Being Bad in Infamous - PS3

I know Ian(Rowan) has already wrote about infamous, finishing it on Good. I figured since, the game is called Infamous, than the game is meant to he be played as the Bad Character. Seeing as you reach infamous status?
Most games where there is a moral dilemma between doing something good or evil, it usually makes me feel bad to do bad things. And this one did just that, I felt horrible for killing the pedestrians and just plain doing bad things to them. But then a odd thing happened, NEVER before in one of these types of games. Half way through the game, I just didn't care about my evil actions. They just became part of the game, It was what I was SUPPOSE to be doing.

I don't know how in god's name I am going to be able to go back and play as the Good guy. I mean, enemies would storm the street I would let loose everything I had, destroying whole city blocks, killing a ton of city folk in the process. To not do that, and just take precision shots? holy cow that's going to be hard.
Then there were missions that didn't really give a clear indication of what I was suppose to do, and at a couple missions I ended up getting Good endings. Which resulted in me restarting the game and doing it again. SPOILER- the mission where you have to either save your girlfriend or save 5 doctors. My thinking was save the girlfriend is more evil, seeing as its choosing one life over many. NOPE, I'm wrong, saving one life as oppose to 5 is a good thing...?!?! This doesn't make sense to me.-End Spoiler

Sandbox?? Really? There not much sandboxing going on here. Besides the actually side quest that you pick up. Without them, the city becomes dead, its not like GTA where you can go around and do this and do that(bars, restaurants, girlfriends, games, etc). All you can do is just fart around the city, much like the first assassins creed. Which gets really boring fast.
So I do plan on going back and beating the game as the good guy and on hard difficulty. Trying to go for the platinum with this one. I still have 7 shards to find, holy cow that's going to be a pain. But over all, I was bored in parts of the game and I gotta say that, FOR ME, its a big resounding "Meh". I played it and will continue to play it to see both sides of the story, I usually do that with these types of games anyway. But after that, I don't see myself picking this up just to fart around Empire City.
Here's a something interesting.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 - PS3
This one has been on my list of unfinished games and I decided to get rid of it... I mean finish it. Blake has already reviewed it thoroughly -->> here <<-- on the blog. But my difference is I'm not a comic book fan so I have a different sppreciation. And I forced myself to sludge through it ... I mean finished it dammit, so I'll review it! ;)
I found it boring, plainly. I am not a fan of top-down gaming for one. The models and levels look fine, but I want to see them close-up other then in cutscenes damnit! That's a large part of the frustration.
I played it on casual, which in essence means I never die and all the leveling up is automatic. Why did I choose that? Because I didn't care! Just wanted to get it done.
So the experience has been reduced to button mashing. Even through the dialogue arcs. I like stories usually, but this one just became tedious at some point. I started out reading all the dialogue, until I realised it didn't really matter in the end.
The level variety is acceptable (and probably larger if you play from the other faction, which I will NOT be doing) and I did enjoy going around busting as much stuff as I could.
The enemies are repetitive and similar, except for the bosses which are Marvel superheroes, which I liked discovering, but that ultimately just resumed to button mashing.
The only thing I really liked was Deadpool, because he was funny and I used him through the entire game as soon as he was available. The others seemed all similar to me. And also Stan Lee's cameo made me both chuckle and groan.
Anyway, one more game scratched off the list. It was an okay game, for someone who doesn't care very much for the genre.
Moving on!

How to Make Beating Your Kids Look Like Accidents
When the Wii came out, we were flooded with all these videos of people tossing their wii remotes into the television and/or people smashing light fixtures. Well here is the new generation of flailing like a idiot mishaps.
MegaMan Coffee Mug
I thought this was pretty dang cool, a coffee mug in the shape of a "E" Energy Tank. I'll take 2 please!!

Even comes with a nifty little coaster.
Frogger Returns - PSN
It took me this long to finish this game, which I purchased at least 6 months ago on the PSN store. It has 4 levels which can be beaten in 20 min, but its going to be more like 25 min.
I love classic gaming and although this game didn't receive the high praise from critics(which I agree, there isn't much here) I did enjoy my time playing it.
The main thing about this game is that there are no options. You can play through the game yourself or compete with a buddy to see who can get Frogger across the street the most. That's it! They should have taken a page from the Championship Pacman Edition. That thing is full of extra stuff to do.
Overall, it doesn't capture the old game very well, it is colorful but poor graphics and the angle with which the camera is stuck, makes it difficult to know if you are at the edge of ledge or if you do indeed have one more jump before you reach the edge. Which results in alot of unnecessary deaths.
What you have to do, is make it to the end of the level, 5 times before time runs out. There are power ups to grab along the way, which slow time, freeze enemies, reverse direction, and invincible. Also for bonus points you can grab this little pink frog along the way to carry on your back to take to the end for extra points.

Each level is unique and plays differently, but while I was dieing alot. The key to finishing all 4 levels is patience. Wait, wait wait, even though there is a time limit, which is what pushes you to make a jump that was not needed. If you just take your time and look both ways, than its pretty dang easy.
After I started doing that, I finished the game with 3 extra lives as oppose to reaching a level with no lives.

It would have been nice if they included a old school version of Frogger or something, but alas we get nothing. It is not the best remake of a classic and unless you are a hardcore 80's gamers nostalgist like me, then I say no to getting Frogger, even though its only $4.99. Its not worth the money.

Marvel Vs Capcom BLOWOUT!!
I don't know how many characters they are planning for this game, but holy cow there are alot of them. The thing I like the most is that they are using obscure characters, I like the fact that they using characters that alot of people don't know...TASKMASTER??..who the hell is that? I don't know, but I like it.
Here are some of the others.
I look forward to playing online. I'm not looking forward to getting my ass handed to me online with a million hit combo.

Duke Nukem _This Time?
Here's a trailer for Duke Nukem Forever. But this game as gone through so much in the past decade that I'm still on the fence that its getting made. But its being handled by the same guys who made borderlands, so my hopes are pretty good for how it will turn out. Or if it even turns out at all.
My only thought is, MAKE A GREAT SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN, fuck the online support. Every frikking game doesn't need to have online.

Selling My Copy of COD: Black Ops

First off, I feel horrible for one reason and one reason only for doing this. This game was gift from my brother this Christmas. But I hope he understands that I did play it, finish it and enjoyed parts of it immensely. But now that the single player campaign is done and I've had my fill of zombie mode. I feel like I am done, I didn't enjoy the online aspect of it. Now with all the rumors or facts in some cases of Activision threatening and bitching about consumers thoughts on the game and saying they will shut down the online aspect of the game.
Then I really don't want this game any more. I rather sell it today and get some money from it then later on and get 20 bucks for it.
I called EB games (cause I still like to find out what they offer for a laugh) to check there trade in value of the game. I thought it was funny, when I was selling my 2 year old 60 Gig Xbox 360 they were willing to give me $40. And for my copy of Black Ops, they are also offering me $40. I think that's funny as hell, for $40 you can own a complete game console or one video game. They are fucked in the head.
But $40 is not a bad trade in for a game, so I think I will take a little trip to EB and trade it on something else. Good bye Mr Black ops. With that, COD: Black Ops will be the last COD I will ever play, I have no interest in seeing/playing or giving money to a franchise that is overpriced and over hyped.
Unless someone wants to buy it for $40, I prefer sell it to a human being than the morons at EB. Give us a shout if you are interested.
Count Down To Jay - DeadSpace

I lend out my games to close friends from time to time. NOT EVERYONE, cause you be surprised how many people treat game cases and disc like beer coasters. Lying all over the floor like some sort of mosaic, looking at you Ian(shakes finger)
8 years 235 days 35 hrs 3 min and 26 sec ago, (not really-it came out Oct 14, 2008)I lent a good buddy of mine, Jay-Beatfreaker my copy of Deadspace to play. He's had it for over a year, cause I believe its a great game that he needs to play. But I am putting my foot down- "Jay" when you read this.
You got until Tuesday, Jan 25th at Noon to finish the 1st Deadspace. At which time I will be reclaiming my game. You must finish the 1st Deadspace on the day that the second one comes out.

I'm doing this to help you, its for your own good. With that I wish him happy necroshooting and look forward to seeing him online with the little caption,"Playing Deadspace" by his avatar ;)
Think of it this way, I am helping out with that backlog that we all seem to have.

Nintendo 3DS Pricing Comparison
So here I was thinking that the Nintendo DS was $300 upon release. So to correct myself, here is a nice little chart of the prices of the other handhelds that were released by Nintendo. I think Nintendo are being really smart here.

They are willing to test their fan base to see just how far they can raise the price on something before even the most loyalist fan says." That's too much". But compared to other gaming handhelds on the today's market, its prices aren't that bad compared to the PSP Go and PSP 5000. Although both Sony's handhelds are powerhouses when it comes to what they are capable of compared the the 3DS.

What Sony doesn't have is the popular market of Nintendo. The family stamp of approval, except when all the kids start going cross eyed, then fingers start getting pointed around. Who didn't test this, who's fault is it that my kid can't see straight?

Demo - Modern Combat :Domination
Remember when 3D Game Heroes came out and there were a large group of people shouting,"Its a rip off of Zelda". To which I replied...and your point is??Well same goes here, people screaming" How dare they rip off Call of Duty.... Don't buy it, its just a cheap crappy version of Call of Duty"

What the hell, we aren't allowed to have games that have modern combat and resemble COD? They are wrong that this is not a rip off of COD, if that's the case then every FPS shooter these days are a rip off of COD.
What this game is, IS a remake of counterstrike. A very popular FPS on the PC. I only played counter strike a few times and it had a very large following, but soon its age started to show. It looks dated, but that didn't stop alot of people.

Well modern Combat is just what these fans need. Its the buy your guns and gear before every match. Add attachments and bonuses and start off with your team to protect a bomb or arm the bomb. Once you are dead, you are dead. So you watch your teammates run around and try to finish the map or that's what the demo was. Maybe their are more options in the full game, I don't know.
The only thing that I could say that this game is anyway like COD is that its called Modern Combat. Other wise we can say that Medal of Honor or Battlefield are all COD rips offs. I'm sorry, but COD franchise didn't start it all. I think that's what irritates me the most about this, is that people saying its a crappy version of COD.

When its not, its a different but similar take on the modern combat FPS genre. I think the counter strike fans will love this game. But if your like myself, then the demo will suffice. I had my time and enjoyed it. But it is, in the end, just another online shooter. And I'm up to my arse with online shooters, I don't need another one, thanks.
But give the demo a try, its a decent game. And for for 8 bucks, you can't go wrong. Unlike COD: black Ops, after only 3 matches, I was coming in the top place with 12 kills and 4 deaths. Whats the deal Black Ops?? 19 deaths - 6 kills, something seems wrong here?

Nintendo 3DS
According to Destructoid, the Nintendo 3DS will be launching on March 27, at 249.99$. That's way over what I'd be willing to pay.
I think I'll wait.
Here's the original article.

InFamous - PS3
I'd been on the fence about getting this one for a long time. But at it's Greatest Hits price (plus extra taken off on sale), I picked it up.
I really enjoyed playing it. I even went as far as finding ALL the dead drops (hidden recorded messages) in the game. Well, there's only about 35, but they are spread all over the city and you have to find them. I also found a lot of the blast shards. But finding all of those would be nuts. I did enjoy just going around hunting for some.
I played good Cole, because even in games, I cannot be evil. Makes me feel bad. I had to stop for every sick person that I encountered on the street and heal them. I could NOT not do it. Though it became tedious after a while. The most evil I got was blasting some people on purpose, but then I would go up to them and heal them. :P Some of the big story moral choices were hard to make sometimes.
The powers were fun to use and blasting lightning at bad guys felt great. :D
Empire City looks a bit bland. I thought there was too much gray and the overall design isn't all that inspired. I did like the look of the enemies. I really likes the look of the comic book cut scenes. The art was great.
I finished it and I have to say that I will be getting InFAmous 2. It was a very enjoyable playthrough, though I won't be playing through it again from the evil perpective. The powers are slightly different, but not enough to entice me to do it. I am curious about the repercussions of some of those evil choices. But really, it's more curiosity then actual caring. I'm satisfied with the good ending.

WWE All Stars
I haven't watched wrestling since the early 90's. But back when I first layed eyes upon it, I was floored by all these colorful characters and their names. My favourites being, Ricky the Dragon Steamboat, Brutus the Barber Beefcake, George the Animal Steele.
Great names! But as the franchise grew it started to change and by the 9o's rolled around I was totally uninterested in wrestling and am still not interested in it to this day.
But I do have a soft spot for all the classic wrestling of the 80's. The premise of the All stars playing as if it was in the mind of a 6 year old acting out a match. Then by all things that begin with "glory", sign me up!!
About a month ago I picked up Legends for the PS3 and I have yet to get around to playing it, its more of a guilty pleasure. But i'll talk about that later. But the first bit of news about this game really has me wanting this one even more. I hope its more of the classic wrestlers, since I don't know who John Cena, Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, Rey Msyterio, John Morrison(the singer??) are.
I am willing to put up with a few of the new comers, but it the majority of wrestlers are the newer ones, then I will have to pass. I rather the whole roster be the classics than filled with joe blows from over the bend. This is one game I will be keeping my eyes open with.
Randy has a white beard, he looks even crazier.....perhaps he escaped from the mental home?

What Scott Pilgrim Could Have Looked Like
Here (thanks Rowan) is a pitch of what the game Scott Pilgrim Vs the World could have been. Personally I'm glad they went they way they did. Sure its cool to see it in other variations of popular exisitng games, but I think it needed to be its own thing. I do like the 8-bit music of "today" by smashing pumpkins.

3DS Games May Cause Eye Problems or How SMRT R Gamers?
We've all known someone or ourselves experienced a little vertigo or nausea when watching a 3D movie in the theater. And that was just from a 60 min to 90 min movie. I've seen 2 3D movies last year. So in one year I watched 180 min/4 hrs of movies in a entire year.So now you apply that technology to people's homes where they can now watch movies and play 3D games. Apply that to handheld systems and soon its all over the place. The only problem is that, NONE OF THIS HAS BEEN TESTED PROPERLY!! Sure we heard the warnings, of don't play for too long. This may affect younger children eye development.
Destructoid reports "That is until Nintendo World held a large 3DS testing event last week. With a troubling report claims that a "majority" of players suffered side effects as a result of the 3D gimmickry. Japanese magazine Friday claims that players suffered from dizziness and eye fatigue, and often switched the visuals to 2D within ten minutes. Apparently, holding the 3DS still can help with the strain, but that wasn't good enough for quite a few players."
Since this is the only test being done, how can one know for sure what the actual effects are? Like I said before, this is a no brainer for me, its just common sense. That you introduce something that messes with your visual acuity and depth perception and you are going to have problems. If people were experiencing problems after 10 min, then imagine those are sticking it out for hrs on end playing games?

But does the average gamer care about these speculations? Let see some comments!
Calibre53 I'm going to wait until I get to try it myself before freaking out.
Blake-Great Idea, if you hear that guns kill people, don't take others word for it. Try shooting it yourself at someone before freaking out!
Matthew Razak Even if your last sentence is true I say it's worth it. ( Referring to the Destructoid article)
Blake - This is what we call in nature, Thinning the herd. Don't touch that, its hot you will get burned. Now apply what Matthew Razak says.
I'm in no hurry for the 3D tech. I'm even thinking at looking long term 5-10 years to really see how 3D effects peoples eyes, young and old. I find it scary that alot of people don't even give this any thought what so ever.

This is How You Advertise a Game!
A co-worker send me a video of a reading of a review for a game. I must admit that this is possibly the best advertising I've seen for a game. Infact, "I wanted to goe out and boy thez game todey" Dot Dot Dot.
Here's a video of the actual game this dood is talking about. Its pretty funny.

Transformers: War for Cybertron - PS3
I'm a big transformers fan, and an avid collector of the toys. While the past year 2 years I haven't collected much in regards of the franchise mainly due to everything being based on the crappy ass Michael Bay designs. Where all the transformers look like a mish mash of pointy seaweed. But a few months ago, War for Cybertron was released.A totally new look and feel for the transformer franchise, which they do alot with these things.
I held off getting it, trying to look for a second hand version cause I didn't want to give my money to Activision. But also not getting ripped off by EB who sells the second hand game for the same price as a new copy, what the hell is wrong with these people?
In the end, my wife got it for me for Christmas and the one thing I regret is that I should have gotten this game when it first came out.
You can play both the Decepticon and Autobot campaign which both tie into a single story line. There are 4 classes of Transformers to choose from. Each with its own set of abilities. The scouts, scientist, leaders and the brawlers. Then each of those have several transformers to select from. So for example, the Decepticon seekers you can choose from Skywarp, Thundercracker, and Starscream and Slipstream. Each with their own set of abilities. So none of the transformers feel like boring clones of one another with a different paint scheme.

The look of the transformers themselves are all very Cybertonian, they don't have earth vehicle forms(since they aren't on earth) The vehicles forms are just as devastating as their robot form, in some cases, down right scary with what they are capable of doing. Come across a brawler in Tank form and you better not be staring down the end of his barrel.
The controls are all very FPS friendly and even the switch to vehicle mode doesn't break that scheme, it all flows very naturally and was a pleasant surprise. I thought that there would be a disconnect like other Tranformer games I've played. Some compare the robot forms akin to what Gears of War plays like, it does to some extent but without the cover mechanic.
It took me a little over 9 hrs to finish the single player campaign and I must say I enjoyed myself immensely. My only grip with the game is the transformation process from robot to vehicle. Looking at it, you can't tell what goes where. There is no, this part of his body is the hood, that's the door. Instead, they sorta explode into a messy polygonal explosion of spikes and reform as a vehicle, with the last few pieces of their form clicking into place. Perhaps it goes by so fast that it really does have all the pieces going here and there. But it happens so fast that I really can't tell.

In regards to the overall feel of the game, its keeps true to the 80's. Remember that deep voice that was in the Transformers animated movie. Well he returns to narrate inbetween levels. Peter Cullen comes back to do the voice of Prime and Soundwave sounds like classic Soundwave and not Dr Claw from Inspector Gadget like the Michael Bay movies.
A big thumbs up for the single player portion.
What surprised me even more was the very indepth multiplayer. Just coming off the Call of Duty Black Ops multiplayer and being thoroughly angered with it. (It gets better ) they say..you do know that's the slogan for young gays still in highschool?

Everything that Black Ops have, Transformers have. A skill tree, a challenge list, upgrades, accessories and one above the by adding in different classes to choose from. Like I said in previous post, Its like I am missing some important piece of black ops. Something that I'm just not getting cause I am dying all the time.
In Black Ops, higher ranked players have a distinct advantage over lower rank players and its not until they reach level 10 do they start getting decent weapons that you can even remotely compete. But to get to that point you have take so much punishment. Its like the frat houses that punishes its new members with beatings before they can join.
How do I know I am a good FPS player. After only 5 games of multiplayer matches playing with all ranks of people. I was able to come in 1st place AFTER 5 ROUNDS!!!!! HOW?! Playing smart! COD, you can rarely survive an encounter. If more than one person sees you, you can rest assured, one of them will take you down.
In Transformers, even if you have two people tracking you both firing at you(Coming from different directions). Then turning around and Backing up is a choice, throw a grenade, dizzy one guy, dash in and smash the other and pull out the pistol and shoot the other guy in the head. COD, I meet two guys, even before I can pull up my iron sites I'm dead, even if I shot from the hip I'm still dead, EVEN if I managed to kill one, the other one still kills me. It all feels like way too much luck rather than skill(espcially when you see the kill came and death by knee caps seem to be the trend)
I've been in situations in Transformers where I had 3 guys shooting at me, a quick dash and drop a grenade to stun them, circle around a bash them from the side and drop kick the last guy to pieces. Its just a very smart game, not BANG, your dead. Like I said, in 5 rounds I was able to come in the top player and get a kill streak of 8. Coming out of the match with kills of 16 and 4 deaths. Something is seriously wrong with COD, suffering it out till you are able to hold your own is not fun.

Transformers makes it so that not the top players are dominating the battlefield. the result is a competitive and fun match. Well done sir, well done. Sad thing is, there is only between 700-1500 people playing at time, where you log into COD, BO's and its numbers is up between 650-700 hundred thousand.
Transformers, I can't give it enough praise, smart, fun, keeps true to the 80's style and feel and a great multiplayer experience. You don't have to be a transformer fan to enjoy this game, its fun for everyone.
Kickass online trailer.

Every wonder what all those people who dress up in video game characters are like. Do you ever look at those wonderful poses and go," I wonder what kind of a person that is?" No..me either.

Its 14 min long, but holy cow does it blow your mindballs.

Lots of Goodbyes This Week
A little trend I have noticed this week is that I have been removing/getting rid of things this week.
First was the removal of all my inactive users on my PS3 friends list, which came to a total of 7 people who haven't played their PS3 between 3-7 months.

Then was the selling of my Xbox 360 and 1st gen xbox and all its games. Removing my Xbox Avatar, good bye pixely me!

Then the good friend of Pacroid and personal friend Jay(Beatfreaker) closed his personal gaming site Portable Soldier. Due to finding time to post is a hard thing in blogger land. So its sad to see him go.
So there was alot of gaming things leaving this week. So long Fellows and Gals.

Goodbye My Xbox

Before reading - please scroll down to end of this article and click play and then come back and read......why?...cause its fun, what you against fun now? Are you part of the fun Police?? No, then click the damn song already.
So its done, Final, El done -O. I just sold my Xbox 360 and my 1st gen Xbox and all its games. I am Xboxless. So the night before when I was getting it ready, I was trying to delete my Xbox account, not only from the HD of the Xbox but to remove it all together from Microsoft servers. I didn't know how to do it! There was no helpful menu telling me, click here to cancel your account.
Removing everything from the HD was no problem, but I don't know how to cancel my account. Any advice would be help full, I'm pretty sure I can do it on a PC. If not than my account will forever be lost in limbo. Or someone hacks it and pretends to be me.

So with that, I leave the Xbox world only to return when they develop that Xbox game from the movie "The Island". Where we can stand and pretend to punch each other. The technology Michael Bay suggest in that movie makes no sense what so ever( no surprise there) but its the bench mark that I want to see before I buy another Xbox.
Here is my farewell song for my Xbox, we had some good times and some times where we didn't do anything at all while you played with your dust collection.
80's Nostalgia From Ebay

Here is a post of back to the 80's, which growing up in the 80's is the reason I love all that nonsense. But we are here for vigamigames, not the poofy hairdos and bandannas tied to our legs.
Give it a click for some great items to buy from the era. Its a great way to sell stuff by classifying it as back to the 80's. A great hook if you ask me. Go take a look and buy something or don't and just have flash backs from your childhood. Thanks to the Alien in my brain for making me go there, I will call it Ally, thanks again.
