More Bad Game Art

Here are some fantastic game art that was created by 3rd graders with learning disabilities. Its good to see the kids getting involved with the gaming community and making this stuff up....what?.....this is actual art?! Some adult did this?!.....well was he doing it while on drugs? perhaps while getting his ballz sawed off?

Time Trails HATE!

I hate time trials. Any game that has time trials I loath!!! There is nothing fun about trying to make the best time. I'm sure it all stems from when I was a kid. Any race in school or some afternoon sports than involved running to the finish line, I came in last.

I couldn't run fast, it was plain in simple. Great way to make kids feel good about themselves, well its no different with time trials. Especially in 3D Dot Game Heroes, not only do you have to win a race in a certain amount of time to get a life shard and a rare sword. Your guy starts of relatively fast but gets progressively faster has you go.

So at a point it looks like you are watching a video where someone has turned up the speed of the video so it looks like you are watching everything super fast. BUT NOPE!!! that's real time with real time reactions that you have to pull off.

ITS RETARDED......the help FAQ says, "stop at certain points to make it through the rest of the race unscathed." I currently have to win a race in 60 secs, the best time I can get is 85 sec and I am on try 246. So what you need to do is play nothing but this game for the next month to even remotely come close.

For all those that go, "well I did it", " its not that hard". You want to know why its not that hard?? its cause your an idiot savant like that fuck tard RAINMAN!!!

God dammit I hate time trails in games.
Here's a video of some guy doing it, and NO, its not sped up. This is real time that you have to react too. Its stupid HARD!!

Sith Warrior Trailer

I've never played a MMO. Will this be my first?? Are they suppose to look ..ummm...blocky? I don't know, but I'm not blown away by the look of anything. They all look like PS2 quality sprites. Is this what MMO's are suppose to be? We shall see.

3D Dot Game Heroes - PS3

Some people are up in arms saying this is just a Zelda rip off and my answer to that is,"Yeah, and....." Yes, this is a great homage to the original Zelda with alot of other little tidbits thrown in here and there. If you are a fan of the old NES 8bit Zelda games, then this game is for you.

Its has easy and has hard has you want to make it. It has the depth of a RPG and the simplicity of a Mario game. You could probable finish the game in 8-10 hrs by just doing the main quest and sticking to what you need to do or you could poke around and get involved in this rich 3D dot world. There are alot of things to do in this game and it makes for a very entertaining experience, if you want to be a completionist. Much like all the extra bits you can do in any GTA game.

The game follows the standard world is in trouble, save us all from the big bad guy. Collect all the items needed and defeat all the sub-bosses and there you go. That's it in a nut shell. Some other things you can do to past the time.

1) Become the sign master by finding specific signs.
2) Collect all monsters in the beastiary
3) Find all the swords
4) Play Tower Block Defense
5) Kill a little crystal monster 10 times (he's fast)
6) Play Block Breaker(like pong)
7) Race on a track (I hate this game)
8) COUNTLESS SIDE QUEST asking you to deliver a note to getting a autograph to saving someones life all of which will fetch you really good items. In fact the autograph will get you the Giga Sword, the most powerful sword in the game.

My only complaint is that some of these side quest are time sensitive. So if you don't talk to everyone and have certain areas explored and talked to certain people, you can miss whole events which can affect you fulfilling certain requirements, like find all swords or rescuing a certain princess. Which means to get these, you have to start a new game and do it all over again. That can become annoying!

There is also create your own hero using blocks. Much like a LEGO's playtime, you can make pretty much anything your brain can think of. So that's pretty fun, but takes getting used to the building controls.

Being able to control where your game camera is also pretty great, you can have it almost flat with your guy or straight over head. Then you can take pictures of your travels and upload them to a thumb drive. Its a great addition and I like to see it in most games. Pause the game, take a snap shot of it and save it to you PSN account.

Other than that, this is a great throw back to the games of old and I would love to see other games given this treatment. Infact the first Final Fantasy done like this without all the Anime crap would be a great game. Going back to the old, before all the big eyed little mouths gender confused characters took over the franchise. Give me that game I will glady go back to the Final Fantasy.

3D Dot Heroes is great fun for anyone who grew up in the 80's playing on the NES. I give it 8 bits outta 10 bits. Off I got to try a platinum this sucker.

Marvel Vs Capcom Screen Shots

Here are some shots from the latest MVSC3 game( I like using abbreviations) It sorta looks like the same treatment they gave the Street Fighter 4. I hope to see more soon.

Super Mario Ninja Gaiden Crossover

I don't think this is gameplay more someone having fun animating a 8-bit scene, but what do I know, I have a hamster for a brain.

That's a Big Fat Sword - Giga Sword Trophy

There is a trophy in 3DDGH's for upgrading the most powerful sword in the game. Alot of sites give the vague remarks such has, "its gonna take awhile", "not worth your while". Not very informative help to someone who is wondering how long is it going to take to upgrade this sword. One site said it takes 100,000 gold to fully upgrade the sword.

First off, when the sword is fully upgraded its friggin huge, it takes up the whole screen, does pierce and spin and has 3 beam levels. But when you don't have full life, it doesn't spin which makes your hero sword a better choice. But fully charged, there is no better sword.

To upgrade the sword, you need to have the maxed out gold, 9999. So you go farm gold and go back and fourth to the black smith and upgrade. How long is this going to take? To fully upgrade the Giga sword it took me 9 trips. What I mean is, I went to the best place in the game where enemies keep re spawning and killed them until they maxed out my gold 9 times.

Each farming trip took an average between 15-30 min. Depends on how much gold the monsters drop each time. First off, the best farming spot is the deadly swamp area right before you go to the last tower. There is a area(Nialliv Valley) with a ton of blue zombies and some rocks in the middle of the stage. Kill all but ONE zombie, leave the area and return and they will keep re spawning. If you kill em ALL by accident, just head back to where the INN is on this level and return.
So with 6 trips at an average of 15-30min each trip the whole ordeal could take between 2 hr 25 min or hrs. I don't think mine was 4 hrs 30 min, but I did have a farming trip that took 32 min. Mainly because the monsters were only dropping 1 gold piece. (Use technique describe by juicebox in the comments to be more efficient with the times)

That's the Giga Sword upgrading details, much more helpful then,"Gonna take forever!!!" I think.(Thanks juicebox for the correction)

My First Game Share Invite

While playing 3D Dot Game Heroes I got a message from someone I didn't recognize. At first I thought it was a friend request (If anyone is going to add me from this site or another, please put in a little note has to where you found me, etc.Always good to know who and why someone is adding me.)

So when I went to check it out, it was indeed some random stranger, but not a friend invite. It was a little message,"Please Game share with me!"

I guess this is something that's going to become more prominent on the PSN. Annoying, like pop up ads. My first thought was write back and give this little shit hell, but angry writing doesn't come across angry enough. I need to write faster. So instead I deleted the message and blocked his PSN account.

I should have written back, "of course, I will give "YOU" a complete stranger access to my PSN account AND credit card information AND passwords. My password is FUCK YOU and my credit card info is U DUMB ASS. I hope that works for you, let me know if you have problems logging into my account."

I like that.......I will use it the next time some random stranger ask for my account info. UNLESS, you write and give some details about why you are asking and you found me on some site, then I will be polite and decline like a normal human being.

Human Centipede Game

So most people remember Centipede from the Arcades. I sucked ballz at the game, but that didn't stop me from shooting quarters into that damn machine. Well some Einstein thought it be cool to fashion the old 80's centipede game after the recent movie called,"Human Centipede". And he was Right!!

I'm sold, this little game has made me want to see people get their mouths sewn to someone elses' asshole. Game of the Year?!!!Huh? COM OOOOOOONnnnnnn!!!

Things to (NOT)Do on a Sunny Day

Its been hot has a horses ass crack the past couple of days. So I find I am not inside staring at monitors and wondering how the hell do I find the fairy princess.

So its good to get out and stretch the legs on those nice days. Here's some fun things not do outside.

1)Don't go outside and play handhelds in the sun, you will get sun burned or your eyes pecked out by crows. (I got sun burned)

2)Don't stare at people without sunglasses on, that just makes you seem creepy.

3)Don't think you can take on a whole colony of ants by yourself, bring friends. Lots of them.

4)The Hose is not a drinking apparatus, nuff said.

5)The Hose is also not a tool to hose women down has they walk by for your enjoyment of a sidewalk Wet T-Shirt contest. (They are all winners in my book)

6)Don't try and cook food on the road, it makes you look retarded.

7)Don't look retarded.

That's about it, with all those you can figure out the Do's and know the consequences of them.

Lordkat's - Until We Win

This guy is great. What he does is take a old (usually a NES Game) and without cheats play the game all the way through until he beats it. Games that were so hard back in the day, he manages to beat. But not without LOTS and LOTS of deaths. Its great to see whats involved in beating these ridiculous old video games.

I'm gonna put his page in the links, he does other videos as well, but the only ones that are worth looking at are the "Until we Win" videos.I wish he had a section called "Until we Win" and all his videos were listed there. But alas you have to scroll through his stuff to find them peppered throughout.

They are great, he has a ton of them.Click Here to see or watch them all on You Tube.

Sonic 4 - First Look

I am disappointed that they are making them Episodes. But expect lots of options, time trails, speed runs, bla bla blah!

Warning !!- Gaming Drought Ahead

For the past 5-6 months there have been at least 1-2 games a week that have been released that I want to play. But unless you do nothing but play video games 24-7, there's no way to play them all. Especially for my play style or wanting to do everything. Not just play 4-6 levels and quit and go, "that was fun" At least finished the game.

But for "ME" anyway, there is nothing coming up this summer and even this fall that I really want. Deadspace 2 is really the only game that I know of that really has me excited. I am perfectly happy with that. This gives me a chance to catch up on all the games I missed the past 5 months. Currently I have 3D Dot Game Heroes, Infamous, Red Dead Redemption, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2, God of War 3, COD-Modern Warfare 2. So with the next few months, I will save in the pocket book and catch up on some great gaming.

Besides these main titles I have a ton of PSN DLC to get through. Great game to pass 15-20 min here and there.

Lazyness Doesn't Pay OFF!

So I have at least 3 Pacroid videos that are half completed sitting on my computer. One of them is a Pacman video of the 4 ghost sitting in their home talking about what to do about Pacman and not wanting to go out and chase him. Its half done, I have one more ghost to animate and then throw it all together. Maybe 8-10 hrs more of work.

Well today I see that what I have sitting on my computer since since April 2009 is now on College Humor (Click Here). Granted I wasn't talking about stupid TV shows. But the premise is exactly that. Here are some screen shots of what I have been doing.

Dammit, do I finish it and have everyone say, "You copied College Humor" or just leave it alone and let it die. CRAP F#$K BALZZ!!!!

Easy Cap

So I wanted to start capturing game play video so I could do weird little things to it.So I started a search online on how to do this. I found devices that ranged from $20 to $300. All with different things that they could do. I'm no professional, I just wanted something to record video so it didn't look like I just set up a camera in front of my TV.

So A co-worker/friend of mine found a EasyCap Device on Ebay for $7.50. Fantastic deal! So even if it didn't work, it was only $7.50.

I must say that I was very skeptical when I first got it, being has technology and me doesn't get along too well. So to remedy this, I brought along the utmost knowledgeable guy on things blowing up, Ian!!!

I went online to look up videos how to do this and most of them are kids recording themselves setting it up. The videos are simple and make it seem has easy has changing a light bulb. But of course its never that easy due to most of them leave out very important parts.

One, I need a splitter if you want to see the video on your TV and the computer at the same time, without it you can only see the video on the computer and its really small. So I have to invest in some splitters, well worth it to see what I am playing.

The other thing they don't tell you is the settings. My PS3 is connect via HDMI on a HD TV, so all the setting are configured for that. So if you just plug in the cord (like the videos tell you) you don't see anything. What you have to do is recon-fig your PS3 to output AV. THIS IS PRETTY IMPORTANT STEP TO NOT LEAVE OUT PEOPLE!!!

So in the end with much friggin around and videos that told "parts" of what you had to do but were never fully helpful I did manage to get it too work. But again, I have to get a splitter to really appreciate the game play. I look forward to the shenanigans that will comes from this.

I would post some videos on how to do this, but there is honestly nothing out there that was helpful. Videos that assume you know a step, skip a step, people with "Ummmss" and "ahhh", shakey cams. Its horrible, I couldn't find one video that went through from start to finish with all the details. My question is, since my TV is connect to my PS3 via HDMI, will the out put cables from the TV to the easy Cap still recognize the video?

PopCap Bundle vs Midway Bundle : PSN

For 1 week only, Popcap is offering 5 $9.99 games for $24.99. That's a savings of half(For those of us that are math impaired) Its part of the Spring sale and it ends tomorrow, so you got 1 day to take advantage of the deal.

The wife has most of these games on her iPhone and being puzzle games I just passed them up, being has I am not a fan of puzzle games.

But I took a chance on these games being has most podcast and even game reviews all talked highly of these games. I was not disappointed, I am not a puzzle gamer, but these games fall in the everyday gamer. They aren't insane difficult which means that I don't have to work out what happens here if I do this 9 moves ahead. Its really easy to get used to these games.

These games consist of 3 puzzle games a SHUMPS and a Fish Eating game. Odd Choice of games, but they all are fantastic. There wasn't one out of the 5 that I went, "This one sucks". They are all great fun and most of them are multiplayer, Bonus.

The games are Bejeweled 2, Peggle, Zuma, Heavy Weapon, and Feeding Frenzy 2. Not one of those games lacked in any way or form. They are full, refreshing fun games and great to look at.

There is also the Midway bundle for $14.99 for games such has Gauntlet 2, Mortal Kombat 2, Joust, Championship Sprint, Rampage World Tour. Again you are getting a savings of half of the original price. But all these games are the same games that we knew from before. And in my opinion, Gauntlet 2, Joust, Championship Sprint, Rampage are games that have been around for years and should only be a $1 each, while MK2, maybe $2.

So if the midway bundle was $4.99 I would think about getting it. But it doesn't offer anything new that we haven't already scene besides being made for HD. Sorry, but that's not enough.

The PopCap Bundle is just a better deal. For one you are getting 5 new games that we've never played before (most gamers grew up with the midway games-so its not a new gaming experience) The Pop Cap games are fun, innovative, they are multiplayer and they have trophies.(For the trophy hunter out there)

For me, hands down, the better deal is the PopCap Bundle, even with the extra $10, its well worth the money.

Marvel Goes Mini for a Second Time.

The first game based off this franchise was downright garbage. So here is the trailer for a second online type game. Yeah the video is fun enough, but what type of game is it? Is it more like the good X-men legends game, or Spiderman Friend or Foe or the CRAPTACULAR Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2? or just more from the last game? Who knows, but I do like the marvel Universe and its always interesting to see what they are trying to do.

BulletStorm Trailer

What the hell is this. It looks like they took elements from bioshock and combined them with Unreal Tournament. It looks pretty cool, something different that's for sure.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 - Multiplayer Co-op

So another add on for Bad Company lets you and a buddy play the single player campaign together and its free for people who bought the game brand new.

This is a great way to show love to the gaming community. You have Bad Company doing things like this and then you have Activision raping the Modern Warfare community. I would like to say that it goes to show that if you show loving to the fans then the fans don't mind shelling out money when the time comes.

But that's not true, since ridiculous over priced Map Packs sold like hot cakes for the MW2 game. So really what Activision is saying is,"You can treat your consumers like shit and they will still buy what ever we give them at what ever price we say". I would like to know when is the breaking point for Activision/Modern Warfare gamers?!

$39.99 EQUALS $44.99 - How?

So...I really don't know whats going on, but once people start paying attention to what they are buying, weird little things happen. Price increases, and the average person doesn't even notice it.

I went to get 3D Dot Hero's and its $44.99. Why??

The 21-25 year old Future Shop employee tried to tell me that its because some games after a week from their release date the price will drop for a short amount of time.

Which doesn't make sense because she couldn't answer why Capcoms Lost Planet 2 was also released at $39.99. And the price that you have it listed in the store is that exact same price and it came out today as well. So what you just said is disproven by the actual copy sitting in front of your face.

So am I to understand that it is a suggested price point. Then why are all the podcast and gaming websites and Canadian store outlets websites have the game has $39.99.

Where along the line of leaving the shipping house and gets to the store does it go up $44.99??

Guess what, every store employee I ask doesn't know why. Doesn't make sense to me, I like to know where the cost is coming from. Remember when the price of oil went through the roof. First it was because of the Hurricane that hit the Gulf of Mexico, then it was cost of protecting oil wells in the middle eastern countries. I'm pretty sure the terrorist still exist and we have a butt load of Hurricanes of all sizes rip through the gulf every year. So the price rise was just an excuse to take advantage of a "poor" excuse and gouge costumers. Today those things still exist but the price of oil is way down. Shouldn't the price be up still, that would be the common sense thing. "It was shittery to begin with, you don't say?!!"

Well if that's the case, then come right out and say that. Its $44.99 because that's the price I(WHO ARE YOU) want to charge. Who sets that price??. Where did it go from $39.99 to $44.99???!!!?

I'm tired of lame ass poor excuses. Perhaps it's because nobody, no retailer, no tax guy wants to come right out and say," We do it because we can, and we like to have more money because we are greedy individuals who look out for ourselves before we look out for the consumers."

If that's the case, well it's just something I have to learn to accept. BUT DON"T GO F#@%N' TELLING ME ITS BECAUSE OF TAXED HURRICANE TERRORIST!!!

Iron Man 2 Game Reivews

Well, we are all familiar with movie tie in games and how bad they are. They go hand in hand with each other. Regardless of what the developers want you to believe, they almost always end up has shit games. And this one seems to be no exception, since I will probable never play this game, I think people should be aware just how bad it is and have a good laugh at the same time.

To start you off in the right frame of mind, first we must watch a video from the developers, so we can really get excited for the game.

And Now, what actually happened.

Those are just 2 of my favourite, but trust me. The Web is full of bad reviews for this game.

3D Dot Hero's for $39.99 - I hope.

So I am heading out today to buy 3D Dot Hero's. The price that was told it would be is $39.99, the same price listing for Super Street Fighter 4.

So I checked the price (In Canada) before I head into the store and Amazon Canada has it for $39.99 where it has Super Street Fighter 4 is $44.99. Wal-mart Canada has it for $39.99. Future Shop Canada has it for $39.99 and EB games Canada has it for unknown, really EB..nothing for me.

So why is SSF4 $44.99?? No answers..well thank you for trying to fuck with the consumer. Well at least 3D Dot Hero's is what its suppose to be. If its not, their will be hell to pay.

Just a tip of the hat ...

A friend of Darryl and I, Adam Terrio worked for a while at Vicarious Visions on Guitar Hero and here's his credit.

It's nice to get some professional aknowledgement.. Congrats buddy!

SSF4 $39.99 My Ass!

I went out this weekend to pick up my copy of Super Street Fighter 4 to replace my old copy that I sold because I lost saved data when my PS3 died. I wasn't a fan of "SUPER" in the beginning, but with all the a new features and reduced price it really started to appeal to me.

Its the sort of thing that $39.99 seems cheaper then $40.00. Its a selling point for consumers, and $39.99 was enough for me to go, "yeah, I will do that".

So I get to the store, I go to EB and the game is listed has $44.99. What?...screw you EB, I'm going to Future Shop, same thing. Finally, at last resort I got to Wal-mart where it is also listed has $44.99.

I'm sorry, this may seem cheap, but I already bought the game brand new for $80, and spent another $15 on DLC. It really was the Straw that broke the camels back, I know its only $5 bucks, but God Dammit, I have principles. It was listed has $39.99, why is it $44.99?!

Don't give me that bullshit about the Dollar being different. Currently the American dollar and Canadian dollar are on par. Taxes you say, the Canadian Government puts more taxes on it. That doesn't make sense, a new release game is listed in America at $59.99 and that same game is the same price here at $59.99. So where is this price increase??

I mean come on, a little research and its easy to see that someone somewhere is screwing us over.

So with that I won't be buying the game. I will just wait for the game to go on sale or wait for the bargain bin price, sure it maybe several months. But at this point I just don't care, we has consumers have to make stands, its our DOLLAR that speaks. $39.99 my asshole.

NHL 10 - PS3

This is a game I had sitting on my shelf since Christmas. After I finally got most of my games that I had gotten for Christmas done, I was finally able to play NHL.. This is my first sports game purchase since 1997. I'm not much of a sports gamer, but I do enjoy watching the Stanley cup playoffs. I've been reading alot about this NHL10 and how amazing it is, so I finally broke down and gave a sports game a try.

I was not disappointed, boy have sports games come along way since the last time I played them. To creating your own team, your own player, your own career, a GM, a Goalie, a Forward. Dammit the only thing missing here is actually playing has one of the referees. There is so much in this game that there's no way I could explain it all in a single post. Each part of this game needs its own introduction and follow up.

I am still figuring out everything, like today I found out that I can replace the music that plays in between periods with my own music. Awesome, because I was starting to get sick of the same 15 songs playing over and over. I created a player, I created a team, I started a career season. There is no limit to what you can do.

My only gripe is that because there is so much, they don't do a good job of explaining everything. One such thing is the upgrade system. The 3 areas to upgrade come with a subset of attributes. So you have Offense, Defense and Athletics and within each other those you get things like Slap shot power, accuracy, balance, endurance, agility, etc. Some are self explanatory, others such has Discipline, Aggressiveness, toughness. Sure I know what they are, but how do they affect my player, it doesn't explain it. So I am left wondering, what do I upgrade, how does this help my sniper has oppose to a Forward?

Other than that, there's alot to take it, but one thing is for sure, this game does a amazing job putting you in the game. When you do create a player, and the camera follows you out on the ice, it really makes you feel like you are part of the game. If you are a hockey or sports gamer, then this game can't be missed. But what the hell do I know, perhaps they are all like this, since I never played any of the NBA. NFL, MLB games.

But you ask any true Canadian and they will all tell you, this is Hockey Country!

Hysteria Project - PS3 Minis

So, I have not payed any real attention to the Minis that popped up suddenly a few months ago on the PSN. But I have PlayStation on my Twitter and a post brought it back to my attention.

Apparently, a horror themed Mini game was on sale in the store. And according to the tweet, it was an awesome game! So my curiosity was piqued and seeing it was only 2$, I figured I'd give it a shot on faith.

Well, the first thing I see when I open it is that it's for PS3/PSP. So, throw the HD resolution right out the window. But undaunted (just slightly annoyed at the fuzzies) I start up the game...

This is a throwback to the early 90's games that were starting to use CDs and would be composed of FMVs. (Full Motion Videos). They were awesome back then, the finepoint technology. Nowadays ... not so much. So you are served a heaping dose of first-person video of you running through woods. LAME #1. And when the video is through, a menu with your choices for the next FMV video comes up. Sometimes, with a timer! OOOooooO!  LAME #2. When you get killed, you get told by a text splash screen!!!!Except the one time, and I was actually taken by surprised! LAME #3

It uses a few quicktime event props appearing onscreen and two puzzles. Well, one stupid-ass "puzzle" that involves just following the right sequence of turns in the forest and one that just involves you paying attention to visual cues. LAME #4
The first puzzle was so badly implemented that on first playing, because I hadn't started the instruction from the start screen, I was caught in an endless loop of running around through the same three videos, with no clue as to what had been the original start point. LAME #4.5!

The "game" is only a first episode of something that will probably never get finished. AND it only lasts about 30 minutes of gaming. AND never explains anything! AND ends on a cliffhanger. LAMES # 4, 5, 6 and 7!!!!!!

Even though it was only 2$, I still feel ripped-off. I could have got better and more fun apps for my iPod for cheaper.

Oh yeah, I forgot. The whole thing is escaping some axe-murderer following you through the woods through traps. A sort of Jason meets slow-walker that always catches up on you even if you're running like crazy (ok, I did find that amusing) but that looses your track when you VERY OBVIOUSLY duck behind a boulder when he's looking right at you. There's also hints at the end that you're part of some scientific experiment. But  who cares, since that will never get explained.

LAME INFINITY!!!!!+1

Street Fighter Legacy - Behind the Scenes

Has being the best result of a live action remake from a game. Here is some of the behind the scene stuff that went into making this great short film. I hope they do more.

Thursday, May 6, 2010

Street Fighter Lovin!

So this is a fan based flick, I think. I don't know the details. But guess what?, its better than any other live action Street Fighter game-movie out there to date. At least Van Dams movie was funny bad, the legend of Chun li....I don't know what to say about that.

I got to say its pretty good, I especially like the eyebrows.

Kids Playing Games they Shouldn't Be Playing

After I posted a video about a kid playing GTA4 I found other videos of the same thing.
I think this kid would be playing Mario and he would still be talking smack. I think congress should take a listen to these videos and rethink what exactly is going on. Some parent got this game for their kid, not only that but allowed him to play online. Which if anyone has any sense at all, I would keep my kid FAAARRR away from online play and when he finally does go online. I will make sure he understands what to expect and how to handle it.

Anywho, here is some videos to make you angry.

A sad fact that I read yesterday was a pole taken by gamers. The question was,"What do you think about the state of online gaming in regards to rudeness.?"

People between the ages of 25-35 said that it was annoying and diminished the quality of online gaming.

People between the ages 14-24 said that its just a acceptable part of online gaming.

Its that disconnect why alot of my friends stay away from online gaming. But what I've found is that if you establish a friends list with other enthusiastic gamers. I have had 100% success with having an enjoyable gaming experience.

I remember my first experience of coming across rudeness in online gaming. It was on the PC and I was playing multiplayer in Medal of Honor Battle chest. I didn't have a mic at the time so I could only talk by typing but I could still hear people who did have a mic.

And my first thoughts back then and so were most othere people's, if you had one asshole who was cursing up a storm and just generally being a dick to everyone. Gamers could the choice to vote that person off the map. Sure they would come back, but after being kicked off that map a bunch of times he/she(I have yet to met a rude female online, but I'm sure it can happen) left for good. AND THE GAME WAS BETTER WITHOUT ASSHOLES!!

People didn't like it, I don't like it. I just want to play and enjoy the game. I don't want to listen to a bigoted racial slur war going on in the background.

I was a adult before I first experienced online gaming. But these kids today experience it their first time out of the gate. So of course they are going to think its normal, its the first and only thing they know.

I for one, would like for them to bring back voting to kick people out of the game. BUT, get a good group of friends and none of that matters. Its night a day when it comes to playing online with friends and playing with strangers.

So if you are one of those that say,"I don't like online gaming because of all the assholes" Then you haven't played a online game with a group friends.

This video is a great example of what online gaming is to alot of people. For one, its funny that you have a kid probable between the ages of 10-12(Who shouldn't even be playing GTA in the first place) cursing it up with a guy who sounds between 17-19, its ridicules. It makes me angry just listening to this shit!!

Game Blogs

A little PROPS to the gaming blogs in my links!!

I enjoy other peoples blogs and their thoughts on gaming. Reading about why they like something that I don't or just plain simple humor. Don't take yourself too seriously and it will be something that others will enjoy as well. Has I find more blogs that fits this bill I add them has links.

I tend to like personal Blogs has oppose to actually gaming sites, they are two different things.

Aripug's, if you can read Italian, then you are all good. A good view from another avid gamer.
